The cookies we use
Cookies fall into two groups.
Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in, keep your session secure and remember the cookie choice you have made. Without them the platform cannot work, so they do not require your consent and cannot be switched off.
Analytics cookies help us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. These are optional. They are not set unless you accept them, and you can withdraw your acceptance at any time.
We do not use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share cookies or tracking identifiers with advertisers or insurers.

Analytics and performance
We use Google Analytics to collect information about how users interact with our platform. This may include:
- Pages visited
- Time spent on pages
- Device and browser type
- General geographic location (non-precise)
Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to distinguish users and analyse usage patterns. In the United Kingdom and the EEA we set these only after you have given consent. Until you do, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookie is placed on your device.
We have IP anonymisation enabled and we do not send any health information, assessment answers or results to Google.
Legal basis
Storing or reading information on your device is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 in the UK and by the ePrivacy Directive in the EEA. Those rules, not UK GDPR alone, decide whether we may set a cookie.
Third-party access
Analytics information collected with your consent is processed by Google LLC as our analytics provider, and may be transferred to the United States. That transfer is made under the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, supported by a transfer risk assessment.
All other personal information is stored in the United Kingdom, as set out in section 7 of our Privacy Policy.

Managing your preferences
If you are in the UK or the EEA, you will be shown a cookie banner on your first visit. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and nothing optional is set until you choose. The banner lets you:
- accept or reject analytics cookies
- change your mind at any time, using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page
Withdrawing consent stops any further analytics collection. It does not delete data already collected, but you can ask us to delete that too using the contact details below.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you being able to sign in.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page, with the version number and effective date at the top of the page updated to match.
